Mrs. J. E. MAYFIELD's Rites Set at North Park Church Today

Funeral for Mrs. James E. MAYFIELD, 53, of 2581 Cedar St., will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the North Park Church of Christ. She died at 12:30 a.m. Friday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital after an illness of three months.

Mrs. MAYFIELD had lived in Taylor County since 1934 and in Abilene the last four years.

Born Martha Bell COATS on Oct. 13, 1894 in Dallas County, she was married to James E. MAYFIELD in Dallas County on April 18, 1909.

Mr. MAYFIELD engaged in truck farming.

O. B. PROCTOR will conduct final rites and Laughter-North Funeral Home will direct burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, J. C. of Dallas, Hubert of 2168 Anson Ave., and Don who lived with his parents; four daughters, Mrs. J. C. COOPER of Houston, Mrs. E. R. THOMAS of Abilene, Vivian of Abilene and Mrs. Charles SNIPES of New Orleans, La. a twin sister, Mrs. Mary YOUNGER of Dallas and another sister, Mrs. Ollie CURRY of Dallas; three brothers,, Tom COATS and Charlie COATS.
