Helen Mae Mallwitz, 95, of Mayfield Township, and formerly of Capac, died Saturday November 29, 2008 at Brian's House of Davison.
She was born October 13, 1913 in Pontiac the daughter of the late William and Myrtle (Howard) Blumerich.
Her marriage to Roy Mallwitz was November 23, 1935. Roy died Tuesday January 7, 1997.

Helen was a longtime cook for Capac High School and for the former Chuckwagon Restaurant in Dryden until her retirement.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, Richmond Chapter #168, and former president from 1949-1950.

Helen enjoyed crocheting, cooking, fishing, watching sports, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Richard Withey of Lapeer, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gerald and Joyce of Chesapeake, VA, and Wayne of Southfield; five grandchildren, Tina Moore, Terry (Sherry) Moore, Clayton (Amy) Moore, David Mallwitz and Tamara Evennou; two great-grandchildren, David Roy and Brandi Rae Moore; sister, Ethel Clark of Mio; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Her brothers, Homer, Kenneth and Nelson Blumerich, preceded her in death.

Her family honors the memory of Helen and invites you to visit and share Tuesday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Capac, with 12:00 noon visiting. Rev. Joan Christoffers, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Capac Cemetery, Capac.

Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".
