Graveside service for Noble Anderson, 80, of Lubbock will be 3 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Chaplin Bob Dupont officiating. Family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Noble was born on November 23, 1928 in Plainview to the late W.G. and Floy (Woods) Anderson. He was a lifelong resident of Lubbock. He married Shari Ann Thompson in Lubbock in 1948. She preceded him in death May 15, 1980.

Noble retired from Bell Dairy (Gandy's) after more than 30 years, beginning as a route man and retiring as General Manager. He was a Mason for 45 years, reaching the degree of Master Mason. He was a former member of the Sales Executive Association and served on the Board of Directors of the Dairy Producers Institute, as well as several other dairy related associations.

Noble leaves behind to celebrate his life his daughter, Linda and husband Kinch Meyer of College Station; grandson, Kinch III and wife Heather Meyer; granddaughter, Courtney and husband Josh Hearen; great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Kinch IV, and Olivia Meyer, Blake and Garrett Hearen, all of Bryan; brother, Charlie and wife Imogene Anderson of Clovis, N.M.; and close, loving friend, Joan Seal of Lubbock.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to VistaCare Hospice IPU, 1717 Norfolk Ave, 4th Floor, Lubbock, Tx 79416. The family would like to express very special thanks to Dr. Wael Tello, Dr. Floyd Pirtle, Jill Barnwell, and the staff of VistaCare Hospice for their compassionate, loving care.
