Retired Farmer Dies at Home
Charles Cavin, 72-year old retired farmer, died at 4:55 a. m. today at his home, 207 South Clark, following a year's illness due to complications of diseases. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a. m. Thursday at the Greene and Harrell chapel. Internment will be in Rose Hill cemetery.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Cora Cavin; one son, Clare Cavin of Bloomington; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Martin of Crawfordsville, and Miss Florence Cavin of Waynetown, Indiana.
A native of Ripley county, Mr. Cavin was born there on October 8, 1874 to William and Margaret Cavin. He came to Bloomington from Waynetown 21 years ago and has lived here since that time. He was affilliated with the Christian Church.
