She was the wife of the late Dr. Gilbert N. Clime who died in 1984 and the late Benjamin D. Kuntz who died in 1964. Born in Roxborough, PA she was the daughter of the late Leo R. and Florence Prager Burdess.
Mrs. Clime was a 1936 graduate of the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. She had been employed as a registered nurse at Lancaster General Hospital, Heart Haven, Elkton Union Hospital in Elkton Maryland and Manor Nursing Home in Newark, DE.
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Towne Club of Lancaster, AARP #530 and the Lancaster General Hospital Alumni Association. Her interests included reading her Bible and ceramics.
Surviving are three sons, Benjamin P. husband of Christine Kuntz of Smyrna, DE, David H. Kuntz, and James M. husband of Penny J. Kuntz both of Lancaster; a step-son Richard Clime of Nobleboro, Maine; a step-daughter Jo Ann Risser of Lancaster; six grandchildren, David H., Kuntz, Jr., Sheila L. Kuntz, Jeffrey M. Kuntz, Kara E. Stefancik, Jamie E. Kuntz and Erin C. Kuntz; four great grandchildren, Gabrielle A. Kuntz, Andrew M. Stefancik Adam G. Stefancik and Evan M. Kuntz. She was preceded in death by brothers Robert and Richard Burdess.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Mount Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 308 Petersburg Road, Lititz, PA with the Rev. Jeffrey N. Webb officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lillian's memory may be made to Calvary Fellowship Homes, 502 Elizabeth Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601. Arrangements by the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 394-4097.
