Janice was a graduate of Southeast High School, class of 1955. She had retired from the Oklahoma City Police Department after 23 years. Janice enjoyed bowling and golfing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by 3 sons, Don and wife Shelly, Kevin and wife Sissy, Kendall and wife Cari 7 grandchildren, Kristena, Keri, Kristen, Laci, Steven, Shane and Lance 4 great-grandchildren, Xavier, Kelbie, Noah and Mykensi 2 sisters, Norma Tippit and Carole Hume 1 brother, Donald Waller and numerous family and friends. Janice is preceded in death by husband, Don K. Bowen 1 son, Kyle Bowen.
Services held Monday, December 8, 2008 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, OKC. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
