Married Jacob Guiler b: 1824 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania.

Died at the home of daughter Emma Hastings.

Caldwell Journal (Caldwell, Ohio) April 2, 1913
Mary Jane Craig, daughter of William and Rosanna Craig; was born in Ireland, January 2nd, 1826, and departed this life at Democracy, Ohio, March 16, 1913, at the advanced age of eighty-seven years, two months and fourteen days. Her parents emigrated from Ireland to the Dominion of Canada when she was four months of age and located at Wesleyville, near Montreal. Her parents came to Ohio when she was about ten years of age and purchased a farm near Freedom in Noble County.
She was united in marriage to Jacob Guiler about the year 1846. To this union were born three daughters and two sons, three of whom are living: Robert P. Guiler, of Monroe County, Emma R. Hastings, of Democracy, and William C. Guiler, of Whigville, Noble County. Her husband died in December 1858, since which she had been a widow. This good woman was converted and joined the M. E. church at the tender age of fourteen. Since that time, she had lived a consistent Christian life. For many years she had been a great reader of the Bible and Holiness literature and about thirty-seven years ago she became convinced of her need of a clean heart and in her own home she sought and definitely experienced the blessing of perfect love, which she exemplified by her life and testimony until Jusus came and welcomed her to the home, he had prepared for her in the skies.
The great-granddaughter, Helen Elizabeth Hastings, who was buried in the same graveyard as her great-grandmother, died at Mt. Vernon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hastings at the age of five months and four days. This double funeral was observed at Whigville, March 18, 1913, and conducted by the writer, assisted by the pastor of the Sarahsville charge. After the services at the church all that was mortal of the aged mother, and the innocent babe was tenderly deposited in the earth to await a glorious resurrection when each shall be caught up in the air with Jesus and the angelic host and be forever with the Lord in mansions, he has gone to prepare for them in the skies.
