Florence B. Holbrook, 92, well known resident of Klamath Falls for the past 52 years died Sunday in the Sarah Graham Nursing Home in Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Holbrook was born Florence Bertha Haley on August 3, 1875, in South Whitley, Indiana the daughter of Mary and Stephen Haley.
She married George Letcher Holbrook in 1913 and the couple came to the Klamath Falls area on January 26, 1915 from Creswell, Oregon.
Mr. and Mrs. Holbrook were ranchers in the Malin area for many years before retirement.
Mrs. Holbrook had been a former music teacher and served as organist for churches in Cottage Grove and Creswell. As a resident of Klamath County she was active in various clubs and organizations before retirement.
The Holbrooks were members of the Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Holbrook is survived by a son, Douglas Pence of Klamath Falls and a daughter Mrs. Helen Holbrook Raabe of Portland, Oregon, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
