KERNS, Elzie, 80, of Big Run, W. Va., died at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, Friday at 2 p.m. He was born at Jacksonburg, W. Va. In August 7, 1968, the son of Jasper and Ollie Kendall Kerns, Surviving are two sons, Vernon E.,Clarksburg, W. Va.; and Robert J. Jacksonville, N.C.; a daughter Mrs. Ann Thompson, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; and a brother, Arza Kerns, Conroe, Texas; six grandchildren. Friends being recieved at the Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove, where services will be held Monday a 1:00 with Rev. M. L. Amundson officiating. Burial in Lowman Baptist Cemetery.
