The seven-months old infant of Capt. B. T. Fletcher died Saturday. The little babe, whose mother died at its birth, had been carefully cared for by its grandmother, Mrs. A. J. Fowler, and up till last week was a healthy, growing baby with every good promise. Chills, followed by congestion of the brain, caused its death. Mr. Fletcher's other two children are also sick in bed, as are two of the children of Mr. Fowler, where they make their home. Capt. Fletcher has the sincere sympathy of many friends in his hours of trouble. The babe was buried Sunday at Grace Chapel, services being conducted by Rev. M. T. Steele.
