Lela Stiger, 92, of Panama City Beach, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at her home.
Lela had been a resident of the Bay County area for approximately 30 years. She loved going to flea markets and was an accomplished artist, but her greatest joy was found in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lela is preceded in death by her mother, Zelma Spence; and her brother, Homer Scriven. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Abernathy (Ross); two grandchildren, Robert Abernathy and Bonnie Bearrow (Rob); her great-grandchildren Wendy Lee Pajer (Rob) and Bryan Bearrow; and a great-great-grandchild, Seeley Pajer.
Funeral services will take place Monday, October 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m at Kent Forest Lawn Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Bryan officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
