Marie Gaddy Tanner-Lockhart, age 78, of Robertsdale, Alabama died Friday evening December 5, 2008. Marie was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and was a Pensacola native. She was a homemaker and joined the family business, Tanner's Grocery & Market. She retired from Gayfer's as manager of Security and then moved to Robertsdale, Alabama. Mrs. Lockhart is survived by her two daughters, Tina Pate and Barbara (Nick) Trevathan; two brothers, Tyrone (Barbara) Gaddy and Barry (Carmen) Gaddy; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her son, Troy Earl Tanner; her parents, Albert and Adel Gaddy; brothers, Roger Gaddy, Earl (Bert) Gaddy, and James Gaddy; husband Tutie Lockhart; and the father of her children, Earl D. Tanner. Graveside funeral services will be December 9, 2008 at Bayview Memorial Park.
