FRED C. KISER, Age 77, a longtime resident of Trotwood, passed away Sunday December 7, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Fred served in the Marine Corps. He worked for The City of Dayton for 37 years starting in 1958 and retiring in 1993. Fred was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church where he made many friends. Fred was married to his loving wife of 51 years Joyce. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Kiser; his father Coy Kiser; mother Della (Waggoner) Kiser; brothers Edward, Ray and Bill Kiser; and brother-in-law Arthur Berger Jr.
Survived by his daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Dan Miller of Steamboat Springs, CO; son and daughter-in-law Doug and Gretchen Kiser of Golden, CO; sister Dorothy Steele; brothers Ken Kiser and James Kiser; sister and brother-in-law Cindy and James Cecil; sister-in-law Patty Berger; precious grandchildren Alex and Davis Miller, and Emily and Adam Kiser.
A celebration of Fred's life will be held at 10:30 AM Friday Dec. 12, 2008 at the ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, TROTWOOD with Pastor Myra Ary presiding. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may wish to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM.
