L. Geneva Hubley, 89, of Fayetteville for 27 years, formerly of York, died Monday, December 8, 2008, at the Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville. She was the wife of the late Curtis M. Hubley and the companion of William Barley of Fayetteville.

Geneva was born on September 5, 1919, in York, a daughter of the late Fred and Erma (Storms) Boyer.

She was an artist having worked in the advertising departments of the BonTon, Bear's, Weist Department Stores and McCroy's.

She is survived by a son, Fred C. Hubley of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
