Obituary:
Effie Bell Huffman, daughter of Ira and Latina Huffman, was born in Harper County, KansasFebruary 25, 1884, and died May 2,1949, in an Enid hospital at the age of 65 years, 2 months, and 7 days.
In 1892 she moved with her parents to Old Oklahoma, residing there until the opening of the Cherokee Strip.
In 1900 she married Enoch Vincent Roth and they settled on a claim South of Lahoma where they lived until five years ago. After retiring from the farm, they moved into Lahoma. Mrs Roth was in failing health for several months but became seriously ill only a few days before her death.
She is survived by her husband of the home, two sons, Carl of the home and Leonard of Lahoma; one grandson, Ronnie Rex Roth; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Hollingsworth of Lahoma and Mrs. Jess Laurence of Long Beach, California; three brothers, Jim Huffman of Red Bluff, California, Joe Huffman of Seattle, Washington, and Ellis Huffman of Enid
Interment was made in the Sunnyside Cemetery
