She was born Feb. 21, 1928 in Roosevelt, to Charles Fredrick (Fred) and Catherine Adaline Allen Hartle.
She married George C. Allred in Vernal, on Sept. 4, 1946. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on August 15, 1957.
Mom loved to garden and sew, but taking care of her family was her greatest joy. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Primary and the Relief Society for many years.
She is survived by George, her husband of 63 years. One son, Andrew C. (Pam) Allred, Sparks, Nev.; two daughters, Susan (Roy) Tracy, South Jordan; and Gayla (Bruce) Harvey, Lapoint; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and sister, Vilate Seymore, Redding, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Mary Pope, Reva Hall and Kenneth Hartle.
Funeral services will be at the Hullinger Mortuary, Saturday, December 13, at 11 am. Family and friends may call Friday, December 12 from 6-7:30 p.m. and again at the funeral home Saturday one hour prior to services.
Burial will be in the Lapoint Cemetery. Special thanks to the Lapoint Ward Relief Society for the compassionate service and the Uintah Care Center for the special care given to Mom during her stay there. Condolences at www.hullingermortuary.com.
