Lillie, age 98, died at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was the daughter of Thomas Bedford and Hattie Louella (Scott) Day. She was the pianist for 40+ years for New Sulphur Free Will Baptist Church. She married James "Buster" Yell Sr. about 1938.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Cecil Day, Harvey Day, Clyde Day, Verla Morelock, and Jewell Davidson, and her half-siblings, Tom Day, Ed Day, Millard Day, Dora Day, and Poly Day.

She is survived by her husband, her son, James Yell Jr., and her siblings, Willie Day and Erline Benton.

Funeral Services were held at the New Sulphur Free Will Baptist Church near Prairie Grove.
