Carol P. Troup, age 62, of Valparaiso, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at her home. She was born on May 22, 1946 in McKeesport, PA to Raymond and Alice (Wolfgang) Biddle. She was married to Robert Troup, who preceded her in death in 2005. Carol is survived by her sons: Robert (Dee) Troup Jr. and Terry (Shannon) Troup, both of Valparaiso; daughter, Cammy Janis of Lake Station; and grandchildren: Rob (Brittany), Cassie, Chris, Candace and Collin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Raymond Biddle; and sister, Shirley Hobough. Carol was an area resident for 39 years and worked as a seamstress for Robert Troup Custom Tailoring. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Burial will follow at McCool Cemetery, Portage, IN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. www.EE-FH.com
