Joseph Brandon was born the son of the late Joseph B. and Maggie L. Barnes Brandon. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. "J.C.", a Veteran, completed three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a former employee of Kennedy's Sausage and had previously been employed with General Dynamics and Bell Helicopter. "J.C." was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie Brandon; brothers, Jewel, Jessie and Kenneth Brandon; and sister, Pauline Duncan.
The family of Mr. Brandon would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the wonderful staff of Lake Worth Nursing Home.
Survivors include sister, Monteen Duckworth of Granite City, Illinois; step-son Ken Fowler and wife Retha of Granbury; daughter, Ola Jean Haltom of Stephenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
