Lester Carrier was the son of Adelbert and Lillian (Woods) Carrier, born in Burt, Michigan.

He first married Gladys Miteen and she died in 1964. He then married Cecil E. Potts Wolfe-Griese and she died in 1972. Lastly, he married Beatrice L. Pierce on Nov. 26, 1973 in Harrison, Michigan.

Lester had lived in Durand, Michigan, before moving to Harrison in 1970.

He was survived by his wife, Beatrice of Harrison, a step-daughter, Eunice Phipps and husband Ward Russell of Livonia, six grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
