w1/o George Eli Waggoner md 28 Oct 1851 Wythe Co., VA
w2/o William S. Herron md about 1869

Mollie was completely blind and lived alone on the north side of Big Walkers Mountain on the now Robert and Betty Munsey property. She had string tied from her door to the various places near her house she needed to go. One in particular was the Out Door John, this was the only way she could get around. The kids in the valley were afraid of her, they thought she was a witch because she always wore black and am sure walked with a stick. She was a good strong willed woman to be in the condition she was in and able to survive. Campbell Co. TN
