Born August 9, 1909, however, for years he believed his birthday was a month later. (seems his parents got a little ahead of themselves). So we always celebrated 2 birthdays for him.
He was passionate about being healthy - he went for a bicycle ride every day until he was 80, and went for long walks everyday after that. He would sing spontaneously, a trait the rest of the family members are starting to pick up. He would talk all through dinner, and always be the last one with food. He jiggled his keys in his pockets, had a collection of skunk figurines. These are the things that made him Henry, and these are the things we miss.
