1956 - GILBERT DOTY CRIBBS, died at his home, 127 Main Street, Blairsville, Sunday, December 23, at 2:15 am. He was born August 4, 1876 in Westmoreland County, son of John and Euphemia Patterson Cribbs. He was a retired telegraph operator for the Pennsylvania Railroad and a life long resident of Blairsville,; a member of the Methodist Church, Blairsville. He is survived by one nephew, John Thompson of Norfolk, Va. Mr. Cribbs made his home with Mr.and Mrs. James M. Paul. Mrs. Paul is a niece of his wife. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Blairsville, from 2-5 pm today and on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. Services will be Wednesday, December 26, at 2 pm, the Rev. H. M. Pape officiating. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.
