She was a daughter of Edward and Lydia (Elshoff) Niemeyer.
Surviving are a brother, Don (Ruth), New Knoxville; six nieces; seven nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Reuben.
She was a 1938 graduate of New Knoxville High School. She retired from the Fifth Third Bank (formerly The People's Bank) in New Knoxville after 40 years of service. She was a lifelong member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, where she had belonged to the choir. She belonged to the Soroptimist Music Club and the New Knoxville Historical Society. She loved music and spending time with her family. She performed at numerous weddings in the area as a soloist.
Funeral rites will be held at the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, with the Rev. David Williams officiating.
