My Great Great Great Grandma~
They had five children: Elizabeth (Lizzie or Jennie) Jane Craig Joseph, Joseph Edgar (Edgar or Ed), David Orr Craig, Sarah (Sadie) Vianna Craig Smith and William Arthur Craig.
Margaret Gilchrist Craig was born in Missouri, Oct. 15, 1841; died at her home in this city April 5, 1898, aged 56 years, 4 months and 20 days. She married W.H.Craig March 19, 1865. To them was given five children, three boys and two girls. The husband and three children are left to mourn the loss of a kind and indulgent mother and loving wife. She gave herself to Christ in her youth and joined the Baptist church at the age of sixteen, having been a member of the church for forty years. Her remains were laid to rest in Bethel cemetery near Delta.
All the children were present during the last weeks sickness and at her death. Mrs. Craig was a devout Christian, a member of the Baptist church.
She was an indulgent mother and a faithful loving wife. The afflicted family deeply mourn her death.
