Chester L. Crotts, 91, died Dec. 14, 2008. He was born Jan. 12, 1917 in Turon, Kansas to Clarence and Grace (Guertner) Crotts. A veteran of the US Army Air Corp, Chester owned and operated Beaver Tool & Machine Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mayredean, and daughter Pamela Crotts Poston. He is survived by his daughter Mayre Lee Norwood and husband Dwayne granddaughter Mayre Jantz and husband Tony grandson Lee Norwood great-grandchildren J.D. and Libby Jantz. Services will be Wed., Dec. 17, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment at Chapel Hill.
