Phyllis R. Hartloff
Phyllis R. Hartloff, age 72, of Puyallup, died November 23, 2000. She was born October 7, 1928 in Steilacoom to Raymond and Alma Muncaster. Phyllis spent her early life in Steilacoom and was a life long resident of the Puget Sound Area. She worked as a waitress for over 20 years. Phyllis was a past president of the Women's Auxiliary of VFW in Steilacoom and was active in Special Olympics. She spent many hours with her children roller-skating and devoted her life to her family. She will be missed by her daughter Nancy (Jeff) Brown of Kirkland, sons Chuck Hartloff of Puyallup and Russ (Sandra) Hartloff of Selah, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A time of viewing will be held Tuesday, November 28 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by funeral services Wednesday, November 29 at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Puyallup. Interment Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Research.
