Mrs. Eva Elizabeth Moone, age 78, of Lottsburg, widow of Joseph L. Moone, died Sunday, August 24, in Tidewater Memorial Hospital, Tappahannock. Surviving are her step-mother, Mrs. Gertrude Clark of Warsaw; four daughters, Mrs. B.B. Bell of Oxen Hill, Md., Mrs. A.E. Self of Lottsburg, Mrs. Nellie Fulford of Callao and Mrs. Malcolm Sparks of Scotts Hill, Tenn.; four sons, George W. Moone of Lottsburg, Levi E. Moone of Suitland, Md., Harvey J. Moone of Richmond, and S/Sgt. John B. Moone, USAF, Columbus Air Force base, Miss., two brothers, Talmadge E. King of Village, and Carlton King of Hartley, Del.; One half-sister, Mrs. Cornelia Simmons of Warsaw; two half-brothers, Oscar King of Hampton and Samuel King of Dover, Del.; Nineteen grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 at Sanford's Funeral Home, Montross, with burial in Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hague. The Rev. Gordon Webner officiated.
