Mrs. Peter (Anna) Aalgaard, 76, died Saturday, October 25, in Tri-County Nursing Home, Hatton, where she had resided the past two years.
The funeral was in Faith Lutheran Church, Hannaford, Tuesday.
Anna Stromme was born in a sod house in Greenfield Township to Einar and Guri Stromme March 22, 1893. She was married to Peter Aalgaard at Union Church, Hannaford June 12, 1910.
They farmed near Hannaford. Mr. Aalgaard also had been employed by the NP Railway, and had worked in an elevator as well as serving as constable in Hannaford. He died May 29, 1969.
She is survived by six sons, Lief, Robert and Sam all of Sacramento, California; Algot, Hannaford; Leonard, Grand Forks; Albert, Hollywood, California;
Four daughters, Mrs. Helmer (Rose) Brudvig, West Fargo; Mrs. James (Margaret) Porter, Aitken, Minn., Mrs. Ira (Stella) Larson, Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. Lawrence (Rachel) Pratt, Cooperstown;
A sister, Mrs. Iver (Emma) Kvamme, Minot, 28 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
