A. Louise Moser of Willcox died April 17, 2016 in Tucson at the age of 90. She was born in Bingham Township, Pa. On July 14, 1925 to Arling M. Barker and Rosa Howe Barker.

Louise was a Registered Nurse, was instrumental in the development of the Public Health Nurse in Greenlee County and retired with Cochise County as a Public Health Nurse. She was a volunteer of the Willcox Food Pantry, a member of the Willcox United Methodist Church, very active in the Wesleyan Preschool and the Hug a Bear Program. Louise was an avid quilter and was involved with the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension in Family and Community Education.

Survivors include her sister Vivian Cornell and her brother George (Rosella) Barker, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband Robert “Bob” Moser, her parents, her brother Charles Barker and her sister Marie Lent.

A Celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 16, at the Willcox United Methodist Church, with a luncheon to follow. Private interment of her cremated remains will follow the luncheon. Contributions may be made to the Willcox United Methodist Women or Charity of your choice.
