A Little Girl Killed.
Mr. T.J. Henderson of lower ward two was among the visitors to town Monday. He said the best rain his section has had since March fell there Sunday. During the rain the 12-year old daughter of Bud Floyd was killed by a loud clap of thunder. She was on the road with a party of seven or eight others returning from Sunday school. She was instantly killed and as there was no evidence of lightning striking in the immediate vicinity she must have been killed by a shock from the heavy thunder.
