He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Hamlin, and was a life member of the Frystown Fire Co.; the Lincoln Republican Club and the Keystone Gunning Club, Lebanon. Sattazahn was a retired Bethlehem Steel Corp. employee, having worked as a painter. He was born in Kutztown, Lebanon County, son of the late John and Emma Albert Sattazahn. Surviving are his wife, Laura E. Wert Sattazahn; five children, Helen M., wife of David E. Kurtz, Frystown; Betty J., wife of Martin W. Kohr, Myerstown; Warren R., Lebanon RD 5; Walter J., Fredericksburg RD 1 and Allen W., Lebanon; 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Grant Sattazahn, Reading, and a number of nieces and nephews.
