Biography: Father Schott was a graduate of Alexandria High School-Class of 1943. He served with the United States Army during World War II. He graduated from Mount Saint Mary's Seminary in Cincinnati, Ohio and was ordained on May 26, 1956. He had served as Associate Pastor at St. Thomas Aquinas-West Lafayette, St. Lawrence-Muncie, St. Ambrose-Anderson and St. Joseph-Logansport. He served as Pastor at St. Mary at Dunkirk and Sts. Peter & Paul at Goodland. He was a chaplain at the Indiana Reformatory in Pendleton, St. Elizabeth Medical Center at Lafayette and Monastery of the Poor Clares at Kokomo. He retired in 2003.
