Frank C. Borden, Jr., former mayor of Bradley Beach, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday evening, May 15, 1944, while attending a meeting of the trustees of Asbury Park Elks Club.
Mr. Borden was born in Princeton and resided most of his life in Bradley Beach, where he served as mayor for 24 years. He was engaged in the real estate and insurance business.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anita Moore Borden, formerly of Flemington, and a son, Robert T. Borden, of Trenton, and three grandchildren.
