Funeral services for Vera Mae Erskine, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2002 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield, LA with Revs. Wallace Ingles and Billy Prince officiating. Burial was in the Sikes, Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, LA.
Mrs. Erskine, age 82 of Sikes, LA died Thursday, December 19, 2002 in the Winn Parish Medical Center. She was a Sikes native and a retired secretary.
Survivors are two sisters, Mavis Waters of Shreveport, LA and Mary Bellar of Houston, TX; one brother, Kelley Bishop of Shreveport and several nieces and nephews.
