Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 1940 at 3:30 o'clock at the Tucapau Baptist Church officiated with the Revs R. R. Brady, H. E. Davis, O. K. Webb and D. W. Smith with interment in the Duncan Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Jackson died at 8:45 o'clock Monday night, Oct. 21, 1940 at the home of his son Vance Jackson in the Tucapau Villiage. He was a resident of Tucapau, SC for 40 years and was an active member of Tucapau Baptist Church. He was a member of the Board of Deacons and a Church Sexton for a number of years. Member of the Tucapau Masonic Lodge Number 213, White Oak Camp, Number 334, Woodman of the World and Tucapau Odd Fellows Lodge, Number 82. He was 63 years of age at his demise.
