Last rites for Archie Monroe Bartlett were held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Bartlett died March 26 at the East-Bolivar County Hospital, after an extended illness. He was 45 years old.
A native of Webster County, he was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Winona.
Officiating at the services were Revs. Percy Moore and Pete Collins. Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bartlett is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Ray Bartlett, Cleveland; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Bartlett, Cleveland; two sons, Danny Bartlett, U. S. Navy, California; Mike Bartlett, Winona; a daughter, Miss Vickie Lynn Bartlett, Winona; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Earl Flanagan, Waynesboro, and Mrs. Dianne Suttle, Cleveland; and a brother, Billy Joe Bartlett, Tallahassee, Florida.
Pallbearers were J. W. Braswell, James Michael Johnson, Alfred Hodges, Troy Evans, Kenneth King, and Roy Rodgers.
