The Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette 9 November 2002 Graveside services for Frances L. Alsop, 76, of Champaign will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at East Lawn Cemetery, Urbana. The Rev. Don Walden will officiate. There will be no visitation. Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy, is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Alsop died at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2002 at Care Centre of Champaign. She was born October 15, 1926, in Champaign, a daughter of George and Clara Heintz Alsop. Surviving are two brothers, John Alsop and Robert Alsop, both of Champaign; and two sisters, Mary J. Spain of Hillsboro, Missouri and Helen Willard of Rochester, Minn. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Ms. Alsop was a homemaker. She enjoyed soap operas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Champaign County Humane society.
