Abstract--Mrs. Georgia Louela Herndon, 68, of Tunnelton, died yesterday at Preston Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 15, 1892 in Preston Co., a d/o the late George and Catherine Plum Ruckle. Survivors include her husband, William R. Herndon; the following children, Ralph Herndon of Newburg, Lee Herndon of Akron, Oh., John Herndon of Tunnelton, Mrs. Louella Shahan of Newburg, Mrs. Virginia Anderson of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Sue Taylor of Fairmont, Mrs. Rachale Phillips of Tunnelton, Mrs. Genevieve Phillips of Camdon, Oh., Mrs. Betty Densmore of Grafton, Billy Herndon at home; 24 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Homer Clay Ruckle of Morgantown; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Cross of Martinsburg, Mrs. Melvis Pratt of Wheeling, Mrs. Mary Knotts of Kingwood and Mrs. Minnie Weaver of Ohio. Interment was in the Shay's Chapel Cemetery.
