Bob was a lifelong resident of Dayton, OH. He attended Willard Elementary and Dunbar High Schools. He retired from DESC (Defense Electronics Supply Center) as a Computer Programmer in 1991 after 31 years of federal service. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Tommie Bailey. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, wife Josie M. Bailey, two sons Jeffrey A. Bailey and Dwayne H. Bailey, one daughter Angela J. White (Greg) all of Dayton, OH, two brothers Walter (Norma Jean) Bailey, Dayton, OH, Euliss (Zelda) Bailey, Germantown, OH, three sisters Bertha Louise Dyson, Rudine Martin, both of Kansas City, KS and Marjorie Traylor of Dayton, OH, an aunt Grace Bailey, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
