Mrs. Lashimt,92, Resident of Forsyth
Mrs. Carrie Cornelia Lashmit,92,of Clemmons, Route 1, died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday at a local hospital after several days of serious illness.
She was born October 30, 1859, in Forsyth County, the daughter of David and Phoebe Stewart Rominger. She spent all her life in Forsyth County near Winston-Salem.
She was married to Jesse Albert Lashmit, a farmer in the Bethel Methodist Church community, who died 42 years ago.
Mrs. Lashmit had been a member of the Bethel Methodist Church since childhood and remained active in church work as long as her health permitted.
For the past four years she ad made her home with her daughter, Mrs. R.O. Holbrook, Clemmons, Route 1.
Surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. J.L. Hicks of Clemmons, Route 1, and Mrs. Nora Boyer of Arbor Springs, Mich.; three sons, Charles Lashmit of Petoskey, Mich., H.H. Lashmit of Winston-Salem and J.F. Lashmit of Clemmons, Route 1; and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were not complete tonight.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Cornelia Lashmit,92, of Clemmons, Route 1, will be conducted at the home of Mrs. R.O. Holbrook, Clemmons, Route 1, at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday and at the bethel Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Bethel Methodist Church.
Mrs. Lashmit died at a local hospital Saturday afternoon.
