WILLS Rites Set For Today
Burial Here for Former Abilene Woman Who Died in Arkansas

Funeral service for Miss Etta D. WILLS, former Abilene woman who died Friday in Little Rock, Arkansas, will be held from the First Methodist church this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with the pastor Rev. W. C. CHILDRESS, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Clarence BOUNDS of Oak Street Methodist church, and Rev. W. O. ASFORD, pastor of Southside Baptist church.

For the past year, Miss WILLS had been associated with her sister, Mrs. Kordie MOORE, in a beauty shop in Little Rock. She became ill on Saturday, October 12, and last Tuesday, underwent emergency surgery.

Miss WILLS was born September 3, 1907, at Groesbeck, in Limestone county. Later she lived at Desdemona, and was educated in the schools there. After moving to Abilene, she attended Parsons Beauty school.

She joined the Methodist church at Desdemona in 1922, and in 1931 became affiliated with the Southside Baptist church here.

Surviving Miss WILLS are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. WILLS; four brothers, J. R. of Grand Falls, Jack and Robert of Pecos and Llewellyn of Los Angeles, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. MOORE of Little Rock and Estelle and Allie WILLS of Abilene.

The body arrived in Abilene on the Sunshine Special Texas & Pacific train last night, accompanied by Mrs. MOORE.

Burial is to be made in Cedar Hill cemetery, under direction of Laughter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Carl GARRETT, Gus KING, S. J. WINTER, J. G. KING, Jr., G. L. CORRIE, L. L. RIGGS.

Honorary pallbearers will be O. G. LAWSON, and N. D. GALLAGHER of Cisco, Dr. P. M. KUYKENDALL of Ranger, Dr. E. r. MIDDLETON, G. G. KING, W. E. SMITH, Cliff BALDWIN, Chester DAVIS, Will LANDERS, G.
