He married Hannah Botsford on March 12, 1670 in his hometown of Milford. They had two known children during their marriage. Nathaniel lived in Connecticut at a time when people in colonial New England were subject to laws limiting what they could do on Sunday. He passed away on June 2, 1714 in Milford, Connecticut at the age of 69 and was laid to rest in this local cemetery.
