Alice Lorene Womack passed away on September 24, 2004 at her residence in Atwater, CA.
Born in Dustin, Oklahoma, she was a very loving and caring person who befriended and helped everyone she could. She enjoyed cooking and making crafts and was an avid animal lover who especially loved birds. Alice loved to be around people; she tried to help everyone she knew, especially the people in the Beachwood area. She is survived by her daughters; Jackie Hand of Woodland, CA, Pearl Boyd of Fresno, CA, sons; Leon Womack of Shasta, CA, Mickey Womack of Shasta, CA, John Womack of Atwater, CA, Eddie Womack of Victorville, CA. Only living sister, Lola Coker of Moore, Oklahoma, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Earl (Mack) Woodmack and daughter Gwendolyn Wardell, five brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2004 from 10:00 a.m to 1:00 P.M. at Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home, 901 W. Main Street, Merced, CA 95340. Funeral Services will be at the Funeral Home on September 30, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be at Merced District Cemetery in Merced, CA. Chaplin Mike Woodman will officiate the services.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ivers and Alcorn Funeral Home in Merced.
