She married September 4, 1946 to Donald Decker Elliott, Jr., son of Donald Decker and Lucy Virginia (Packett) Elliott. There were three children - Donald Decker Elliott, 111, William Swayse Elliott, and Virginia Alice Elliott. They divorced December 2, 1969.
Thelma married May 2, 1970 to Laddie Richard Robinson, son of Henry and Helen Marie (Pickett) Robinson. There were no children. They divorced December 9, 1975.
Thelma Packett Robinson, age 80, of Farnham, died on Saturday, July 23, 2005. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Totuskey Baptist Church and a retired salesperson for Walmart. She is survived by a daughter, Virginia E. Henderson and her husband, William (Bill) of Beaverdam; a son, William (Willie) S. Elliott and his wife, Gloria, of Warsaw; four grandchildren, Brian, Scott, Spencer and Shelia; also three brothers, Milton W. Packett of Farnham, Garland L. Packett of Warsaw and Lawrence H. Packett of Tappahannock. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Elliott.A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Totuskey Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Reverend Ray Goude officiated. Pallbearers were Brian Henderson, Scott Henderson, Spencer Elliott, Dan Balderson, Lawrence "Hugh" Packett, Jr., Keith Packett and Gregory Packett. Arrangements by the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel.
