REICHLE
Delbert Gene Reichle, 39, passed away Tuesday, June 8, at the Tinker Field Air Force Base Hospital, where he had been a patient for one day. He was born January 12, 1937 in Atchison.
The family later moved to a farm in Cummings, he was a member of the Cummings Methodist church. He attended Effingham High School.
In 1954 he enlisted into the U.S.A.F. Also, on November 1, 1954, he married Carol Lee Helton of Atchison, at a quiet ceremony at the base chapel in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He served 5 tours of overseas duty and in various states. He retired with 20 outstanding years active at Altus A.F.B., Oklahoma in 1974, after which he went to work for the main Post Office in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He and his family reside in Midwest City, Oklahoma, except for a married daughter who lives in Fort Worth, Texas.
His hobbies were working in his garden and playing and singing country western music with his guitar. He also enjoyed fishing and various sports in his spare time, but most of all he enjoyed his children.
He is survived by his wife Carol, his three sons: Wesley, Ronald, and Michall and three daughters Debra Mastrianne, Pamela and Sandra. He has a two year old granddaughter, Tara Lee Mastrianni and a son-in-law, Paul Mastrianni; His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Reichle of Atchison; his four brothers, Virgil of Olathe; Kenneth of Atchison; Ralph and Steven both of Topeka; his six sisters, Mrs. Virginia Nolan, Jr., of Albany, Georgia; Mrs. Doris Powers of Topeka; Mrs. Lois Stallings of South Haven, Mississippi; Mrs. Nancy McCune of Leavenworth; Miss Grace Reichle, of Topeka; and Mrs. Sally Friend of Atchison.
Memorial services were held at the Mercer Funeral Home at 10 a.m., Friday, June 11, with the Rev. Keith Bradbury officiating. Musical arrangements were by Mrs. Ray Wright accompanying Clyde and Claude Rieschick singing.
Burial was in the Bucks Grove cemetery, west of Holton.
Pallbearers were the Richard Gabor A.F.B. kin Kansas City. Military graveside services were furnished by the Richard Gabor A.F.B.
