Georgia Moon Self, 75 of Lottsburg, died September 10, 1992 in Warsaw Health Care Center. She was a member of Melrose United Methodist Church, Lottsburg, Ladies Aid Society of Lewisetta and was a meter reader for Northern Neck Electric.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur E. Self; a daughter, Brenda Self Atkins, Studley; two sons, A. Joseph Self and Harry Lee Self, Sr., both of Callao; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette M. Bell, Annandale, and Bessie Mae Sparks, Scotts Hill, Tenn. Four brothers, George Moon Sr.,Lottsburg, Harvey Moon, Annandale, Levi Moon, Suitland, Md., and J.B. Moone, Idaho.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, at the Jones-Ash Funeral Home, Rainswood, with Rev. Wayne S. Richman and Rev. Curtis H. Hawks officiating. Interment was in Melrose United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lottsburg. Pallbearers were Ben Bell, Charles Bell, Ralph Fulford, James Fulford, George Moon, Jr., John Moon, John Vanlandingham and Alva Thomas.
