Ethel C. (Jacques) Forsberg, 84 died suddenly at UMass Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 20, 2008. She leaves her husband of 61 years, William R. Forsberg, two children, Thomas A. Forsberg and his wife Robin of Auburn and Steven J. Forsberg and his wife Lynda of West Boylston. She was predeceased by her son William R. Forsberg, Jr. She also leaves six grandchildren - Jennifer and Jonathan Forsberg of West Boylston, Davin Forsberg of Worcester, Tammy Forsberg of Auburn, and Lisa and Timothy Forsberg of Rhode Island - and several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Coventry, Rhode Island, daughter of the late Henry E. and Emily N. (Parker) Jacques on November 25, 1924. She graduated from North Kingstown High School. Ethel worked for the West Boylston Schools in the cafeteria department. She enjoyed working, especially with the little children. She also loved her home, cooking, and crocheting. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, West Boylston and SAC Park in Shrewsbury. Ethel also enjoyed traveling with her husband and enjoyed many fine trips in their retirement years.

Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, Friday, December 26, 5-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Saturday, December 27, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester.
