The funeral for Clarence Junior Nave, 76, of Athens will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Tim Keenum and Clyde Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Sardis Springs Church Cemetery.
Mr. Nave died Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at the Sunbridge Nursing Home in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
Mr. Nave was born November 1, 1932 to Benjamin "Bennie" Nave and Clara Mae Campbell Nave in Limestone County.
He was self-employed as a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Nave was a member of the Sardis Springs Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Limestone County.
Survivors include his wife, Elvirta Stafford Nave of Athens; son, Joel Wayne Nave of Arizona; daughter, Tammy Nave Claunch of Athens; grandchildren, Paul Wayne King and Luke Claunch; brothers, Ed Nave and Hollis Nave, both of Athens; and a sister, Margaret Nave Prichard of Chattanooga, Tenn.
