Abstract--age 82, of Fairmont, died May 1, 1982, in the Fairmont Emergency Hospital. He was born Jan. 6, 1900, in Fellowsville, s/o the late George and Rosalie Ridenour Harvey. He was a former employee of Standard Oil Co. and had retired after 43 years as owner and operator of Harvey's Exxon at the corner of Merchant and Newton streets in Fairmont. Survivng are his wife, Emily Thompson Harvey; a son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Norma Harvey, of Fairmont; three sisters, Mrs. Madeline Wolfe of Fellowsville, Mrs. Wilma Sypolt of Rowlesburg, Mrs. Anna Matthews of Pittsburg; three grandchildren, Mrs. Sharon Mallow, Billie Jim Harvey and Ronda Harvey, all of Fairmont; two great-grandchildren, Jamie and Jill Mallow, both of Fairmont. He was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.∼w/ M. Emily
